“I am delighted to have Dr. Devi as a colleague in helping me deliver the best possible care to neurologically ill patients we have in common. She has been an ‘early adopter’ on many new trial drugs and other interventions, including TMS. While I offer trials to all my patients as a standard of my practice, there are many who fail to qualify or will not cooperate for randomization. Dr. Devi has filled this niche perfectly.”

Samuel Gandy, MD, PhD
Mount Sinai Professor of Alzheimer’s Disease Research, Professor of Neurology and Psychiatry

“Gayatri Devi has developed a profoundly important and new view of Alzheimer’s disease, that it is not an ‘all-or-nothing’ diagnosis but must be calibrated for each individual. Many patients can continue productive, fulfilling lives for an indefinite period of time. Dr. Devi is brilliantly trained in a variety of disciplines to diagnose and bring relief to patients with neurological disorders.  She is the first specialist to whom most of us turn for solving complex diagnostic and therapeutic issues.”

“As a neurosurgeon, I have had the privilege of having a long standing working relationship with Dr. Gayatri Devi. She is a thoughtful, caring, and superb clinician who provides the best care for her patients. Her demeanor and morals are exemplary. I would have no hesitancy recommending my family members to her.”

“Dr Gayatri Devi is a highly knowledgeable, astute clinician, whose personal attention and extraordinary experience combine to make her both a favorite with patients and an esteemed colleague. In addition to her clinical skills, Dr Devi is among those exemplary neurologists eagerly searching out, and offering to patients, innovative diagnostic and therapeutic advances for movement and cognitive disorders too long felt to be non-treatable.”

“Dr. Devi is the leading humane and hopeful dementia neurologist in Manhattan and the distinguished author of The Spectrum of Hope: An Optimistic and New Approach to Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Dementia. Her reputation is deservedly global.  I think she is very kind and understanding.”

“I am lucky to collaborate with Dr. Devi, an exceptional neurologist, who coined the term ‘Menopause Related Cognitive Impairment (MeRCI)’ to describe the cognitive changes seen in women going through menopause. This recognition is critical for correct treatment and avoiding misdiagnosis of a more ominous process.”

Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Weill Cornell Medical College

I am so thankful to have found Dr. Devi as my neurologist. She has been treating me successfully for over five years.... Prior to diagnosis and treatment from Dr. Devi, I was diagnosed with FTD, a type of dementia, and told to go home and get my affairs in order.I came across Dr. Devi's book "Spectrum of Hope", and made an appointment. We met, and then Dr. Devi and her fine staff, tested me, diagnosed me, and we began a treatment plan. Five years later I am living life to the fullest, with some obvious limitations.Dr. Devi's care, skill, knowledge, and treatment have allowed me to live life, rather than succumb to this awful illness. I am forever grateful for Dr. Devi's abilities, and the fact that she first gave me hope, then gave me life itself. My hope is that everyone that has a need for Dr. Devi has the same wonderful experience that I have had. Dr. Devi will always be in my heart.read more

Dr. Devi is a treasure! She is both an outstanding physician and diagnostician, but also warm, caring and genuinely... concerned about the physical and emotional wellness of her patients. Dr. Devi always has the time to listen, to ask probing questions and never rushes through an appointment. Her care and concern, together with her medical skill, makes one feel that they are in good hands. I consider myself very lucky to have found Dr. Devi. I recommend her highly and without reservation.read more

I have known Dr. Devi for over 2 decades. My journey with her began with her warm smile, caring heart and reassurance... that she would find some answers in treating the memory issue my young husband was experiencing. I am now traveling into New York for the treatment of my daughter and Dr. Devi's commitment to her care is above and beyond all I could ever ask for. Her level of expertise and the caring environment is always reassuring and puts a big smile on my daughter's face.We are so grateful for continuing this journey with Dr. Devi . Thank you for your big caring heart and your beautiful smile and all that you do for your patients!read more

Doctor Devi was referred to me via a family friend, a man in his 70’s who had suffered a moderate stroke. After seeing... his impressive turn around and the meticulous care afforded by Dr. Devi, I sought her treatment for my own set of symptoms.I would say that I am not Dr. Devi’s traditional patient - I am a young man suffering from a systemic disease with neuropathic and neurological implications. There is no consensus treatment for my illness in the medical literature.Given these factors, I endeavored on a wide ranging treatment protocol with Dr Devi. Dr Devi is interested in the whole picture - her approach afforded treatment insights that I believe would have been ignored or dismissed by less holistic practitioners. Dr Devi routinely reached out to other experts in her network and did additional research to uncover new avenues of treatment for me. She has greatly improved my condition.Dr Devi saw me regularly and enthusiastically. She is a kind and empathetic doctor. I recommend her unconditionally.read more

Dr. Devi is an outstanding physician! Not only is she a highly intelligent, warm and caring person but an excellent... diagnostician. Dr. Devi is treating me for a serious and debilitating back condition. Based on her expert treatment and recommendations, I am well on the road to a complete recovery. Contrary to many other physicians in a field dominated by managed care, Dr. Devi takes the time to listen, never rushes through an appointment and always has a positive attitude toward healing which she conveys to her patients. I am very lucky to have found Dr. Devi. I recommend her highly and without the slightest reservation.read more

I brought my mother to see Dr. Devi early on in my mom's journey with Alzheimer's. Dr. Devi provided not only the... absolute forefront of treatment options, she treated my mother as a lifelong friend. Visiting the office was always a pleasure because we were made to feel at home. My mother's life was not just lengthened but more importantly substantially- enriched by the expertise that Dr. Devi shared with us. I cannot emphasize enough that my mother's good years were lengthened due to her treatment with Dr. Devi. If anyone I know has Alzheimer's I send them first to Dr. Devi and advise that they read all of her books. She is the absolute tops in the field.read more
